Screening and Discussion of HBO’s The Alzheimer’s Project

On May 1, 2009 The SAGE Program at the Center on Halsted will host a special screening and discussion of HBO’s The Alzheimer’s Project as part of a national discussion to encourage individuals to learn more about the disease and the research being done, as well as to gain a greater understanding of the issues surrounding it.

The Center on Halsted is Chicago’s community center serving the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) communities. I imagine the discussion will address aging issues specific to the LGBT community.
