Mindful Monday: No Mud, No Lotus

I wanted to share one of my favorite quotes on healing with you today for Mindful Monday.  You can turn it into a mindfulness practice by following these steps. This idea makes me think about post-traumatic growth. Many trauma survivors I work with have made meaning from their trauma and used it to spark amazing growth. Can you see yourself as this lotus, blooming from the much and mud of the past?
